Culcheth Community Yoga

Based at Culcheth High School in Warrington, this community Yoga class is mindfully paced and suitable for all levels. It is a Hatha vinyasa-based class that includes movement (Asana), breathwork (Pranayama) and mindfulness (Meditation).

We start with a grounding breath awareness practice, before moving on to a warm-up sequence. The main portion of the class moves between standing flowing sequences and strengthening static holds.

The class will finish with some cleansing breathwork and a grounding final relaxation to complete the practice.

Nourish your body and mind with this challenging but accessible class that will leave you feeling strong and energised yet calm and relaxed.

  • £7.50 per class, £21 for a 3-class pass, or £39 for a 6-class pass.

Beginners and experienced practitioners alike are welcome. Experience of the postures, breathing exercises and meditation is an advantage but is not necessary to practice. I especially welcome men to step out of their comfort zones and onto the mat to share in the magic of this practice. Come and join this friendly yoga community, based in Culcheth, Warrington.

Do I need to be flexible?

It is a common myth that you must be flexible to practice yoga! You work within the limits of your own mobility. With consistent practice, it will increase.

I've never practiced yoga before, is this class suitable for me?

Yes this class is suitable for all levels of experience. I will provide alternative options and stages to certain postures that will enable you to progress at your own pace.

What do I need to bring?

Wear comfortable loose clothing or gym wear. I supply mats, blocks, straps and blankets. You just need to bring yourself and a bottle of water.
