Corporate and workplace wellbeing sessions and programs encompass a complete set of mind and body practices to manage stress and maintain good physical health, that can be adapted to suit the needs of the individual.

Workplace Stress is a Serious Issue With Far-Reaching Consequences.

Recognising the importance of managing stress and utilising corporate and workplace wellbeing strategies, businesses and individuals can develop tools and self-care practices which lead to a healthier, happier and more productive workforce.

In today’s fast-paced and highly demanding corporate environment, employees face numerous challenges that can impact their health. Stress affects not only the wellbeing of the individual but impacts the organisation as a whole,  through lower morale and cohesion, which also lead to financial costs to the business and presents the following challenges:

High Levels of Stress

The pressure to meet deadlines, achieve targets, and maintain work-life balance often leads to elevated stress levels among employees. Chronic stress creates inflammation in the body and can lead to cardiovascular issues, depression and anxiety.

Lack of Focus and Concentration

With constant distractions and information overload, employees can struggle to maintain focus and concentration, affecting their ability to perform at their best. This can lead to emotional reactivity, lowered morale and decreased productivity.

Mental Fatigue and Exhaustion

Continuous cognitive demands can result in mental fatigue and exhaustion, leading to decreased creativity, problem-solving skills, and overall job satisfaction. Exhaustion and mental fatigue lead to anxiety and depression which can result in more sick days being taken.

How Corporate and Workplace Wellbeing Can Help

The foundation of corporate and workplace wellbeing sessions is to promote better health and well-being and stress management. I offer a combination of Yoga postures and movement, breathing and meditation practices that are proven to work.

I combine science and practice to help your teams understand how stress manifests in the body, how it affects the nervous system and how these practices help to regulate the nervous system and strengthen resilience to stress.

This program is tailored to fit seamlessly into your workplace setting, providing flexibility to accommodate various work schedules and environments. I offer on-site yoga, breathwork and meditation sessions, virtual classes, and customised workshops or seminars that cater to the specific needs of your employees.

By introducing yoga, meditation, and breathwork practices into the workplace, these practices bring the following benefits:

Stress Reduction and Self-Regulation

Scientifically proven techniques that reduce stress, anxiety, and the risk of burnout. By incorporating regular sessions of yoga and meditation into the work routine, employees can learn to manage stress effectively and cultivate resilience.

Improved Focus and Concentration

Enhance mindfulness and promote present-moment awareness. By training the mind to stay focused and calm, employees can improve their concentration, cognitive abilities, and decision-making skills.

Enhanced Overall Wellbeing

Foster a sense of inner peace, emotional balance, and overall well-being. By incorporating these practices, employees can experience improved mental clarity, reduced physical stress and negative emotions and increased job satisfaction..

By lowering stress levels and enhancing mental and physical well-being, the positive effects of these practices foster greater cohesion, collaboration and empathy amongst colleagues across the organisation.

By investing in corporate and workplace wellbeing, companies invest in the mental well-being of their workforce, creating a positive and supportive work environment, leading to higher employee engagement, reduced absenteeism, and increased productivity.

In 20 years of working in the corporate IT world, I have worked in many fast-paced, quickly changing environments. This work has often involved long hours and large workloads, working to tight deadlines.

Often working long hours at a desk, resulted in posture and mobility issues, in key areas such as hips, hamstrings, back and shoulders. Yoga strengthens core stability while developing better posture and increased functional range of movement.

Experiencing high levels of stress over a prolonged period has led to high levels of anxiety followed by a complete crash and burn. I understand how detrimental poor physical and mental health can be personally and to the overall organisation. Practicing yoga, meditation and breathwork offer a pathway to lower stress levels and increased focus.

My experience of chronic stress and burn out led me to start practicing Yoga. Over the last 10 years, and with the help of exceptional teachers, I have developed my own Yoga, meditation and breathwork practices to support my own mental and physical wellbeing.

I use simple and effective techniques which are backed by scientific research and thousands of years of practice. These practices are more relevant than ever in today’s ever increasing pace of life.
